Pork Chops & Apples - A healthy delicious main dish and dessertJump to Recipe

Pork Chops & Apples are a healthy way to serve a delicious meal and dessert. The juice from the apples bakes into the pork chops creating a tender meat. The apples are a bonus delight!

I love pork chop but my hubby generally doesn’t. This is one of those recipe that he likes and my mother-in-law too.

The saying “Pork Chops and Applesauce” is universally loved by my generation thanks to Peter on the Brady Bunch. Can’t make this without saying it just like Peter!

Enjoy!

Stacy I like to cook healthy so I used olive oil instead of butter to brown the porkchops. But using the oil as much as I do it didn’t seem to make a difference. But with the apples and chops spices and all it was very good. Thank You.

  4. I agree time alone is very important. My hubby takes the kids out for a few hours on Mother’s Day to give me a break and that’s one of the best gifts ever.

Made this tonight for dinner for me and my husband. Loved this recipe. Have leftovers for tomorrow night. Couldn’t believe it was just spices and no salt. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you!
