Let’s face it, there are only a few people who don’t like ranch, bacon or pasta. So what happens when you add them all together? Yeah, that’s right. You get a mouth explosion of goodness!
When I make Bacon Ranch Pasta for cookouts or potlucks, someone is always asking for the recipe. Oh and I have to make extra for a certain lady at my husband’s work! Those are the kind of compliments that I like receiving.
This recipe is easy to manipulate and make changes to. I’ve fiddled with it for the last couple of years and found this to be the perfect balance for my family. Occasionally I top my salad with bacon bits for a little crunch factor.
However here are a few alterations you could add:
- Sliced black olives (I would but my hubby doesn’t like them)
- Chopped onions
- Peas
- Ham or chicken

I love the idea of the ranch mix with sour cream and mayo so you have fresher than bottled ranch dressing. This looks wonderful and I’m sure makes a great side.
I might try to sub the sour cream with non fat Greek yogurt, but I understand that’s a vit silly since there’s s half pound of bacon in it :)
I like to try healthier things too… You could always sub turkey bacon or shredded chicken. Both would work lovely!
