Sloppy BBQ Sandwiches are one of my go to meals, especially when life is really busy.
They make for a quick & delicious meal that is kid-friendly and husband approved. I’ve made these for my daughter’s band (200+ kids) and they were a big hit. I usually serve them with my Homemade Crispy Fries. They go well with coleslaw and/or potato salad.
If you would like to kick them up a notch, add a bit of bell pepper & a teaspoon or two of your favorite hot sauce.
These sandwiches use liquid smoke. Liquid Smoke is generally found where the Barbecue sauce is in the grocery store. If you have never cooked with it – you’re gonna fall in love. I prefer Natural Hickory Flavor by Colgin Liquid Smoke.

Thx for this recipe. It just made my quick dinner list for tommorow. Hi! Visiting as the cohost of Merry Mondays. I love your blog. It is very cute.
Thank you Marilyn. This is one of my hubby’s favorites. I hope you enjoy it!! ~Stacy
I don’t care for the vinegar taste in most sloppy joe recipes, but yours doesn’t use much. I’ll have to give this a try. Thanks for sharing on Merry Monday.
These aren’t really sloppy joes.. They look like them but taste like a barbecue sandwich. Thanks for stopping by ~Stacy
The Macy’s trip is pretty exciting. My cousins oldest daughter got to go 2 Christmas’s ago. She was picked with about 4 other girls in our state for being the top High School Cheerleaders. My aunt (her grandma) went with them. It looked like a lot of fun and we all rooted for her! Thanks for linking at The Yuck Stops Here! Pinned!
Thank you Chrystal for stopping by. We’re so excited about the trip. I’m sure I’ll be blogging about it for the next year and a half. I’m glad your cousin got to experience it. Have a terrific weekend! ~Stacy
